Must be more careful next time

In the news, this week:

A man was arrested for sending his nine year old son out on the street, naked. This is to punish him for not doing his homework.

In my home, tonight:

I sent my five year old son out of the front door, with no shoes on. This is to punish him for taking two hours to eat his dinner.

He ate it up very quickly, once outside, the little bugger. Then he rang the door bell, announced that he had finished. I inspected his plate with the chain still on, saw that it had been licked clean, an let him back in.

Unfortunately, our neighbour in the flat across the hall saw him as she came home. As she fumbled around in her bag, searching for her keys, she turned round twice to look at J (I know cos I was monitoring all this through the peep hole). Must admit my heart skipped a beat. What if the bitch called social services?

Haha I know I can count on you. And here's the brownie recipe:

225g unsalted butter, softened
3 eggs
110g brown sugar
75 g self-raising flour
2 heaped table spoon coca powder
300g (or more if you like) of chopped semi-sweet chocolate of chocolate chips

1. Beat the butter and sugar together until well creamed
2. Beat in the eggs, add the sifted flour, mix well
3. add the sifted coca powder, mix well
4. Add the chocolate bits, mix well
5. pour in a 8x8 square tin, greased and lined, bake at 180C (use a lower temp for counter top ovens) until the mixture is no longer wobbly, the top crusty, and toothpick comes out clean when you poke one through the middle.
6. Remove from oven, cut into squares, remove from tin when completely cooled.
