Today's snack was a disgrace

I did okay this morning. Psychoamah was okay (maybe it's cos it wasn't me who brought the snack), but somehow we seem to be having the same conversation each time we meet. I conclude that there are only three things she likes to talk to me about.

1. Kids are really picky eaters
2. Business is not good, and therefore
3. The pay is shit

She really has no interest in me whatsoever. Which is fine. If I have to see her anymore than I have to, I'd probably have to hit her, or tell it to her face to shut up.

The snack was really weird. Consists of:

1. Peanut butter sandwiches; chutney sandwiches
2. Plain macaroni
3. Bottle of ketchup
4. Bag of tiny cookies (talking button sized here)

Okay, obviously there is no FRUIT - psyhoamah noticed immediately. And a bottle of ketchup. What was that all about? No cheese? No proper tomato sauce? It's fucking insane.

What's even more insane is that the kids gobbled it all up like they were having the worst munchies ever. Those sandwiches were dire. I ate a couple and they were pathetic. They were the kind of sandwiches that kinda fall part as you hold them up to your mouth. Crumbling. Limp. Sad. Not made with love. When I got home I was starving and had a couple of slices of marmite on toast and a cup of peppermint tea.

You make the playgroup sound heartbreakingly grim. Post something nice about it, before I cut my throat.

Okay, just let me finish my marmite and cheese sandwich, and I'll have a think about it.
