The day before today

Yesterday was not entirely satisfactory, as days go. Woke up late and missed going to church. I don't much like it when that happens. Then spent the whole day not doing an awful lot. Just general attempts at tidying and pissing about roaming from room to room looking for things whose names I forgot once I got to where that thing was supposed to be. Stuffed my face all day with biscuits, fruits, dark chocolates, slices of toast, leftovers, and the like. Drank rum and diet cokes as I went along. God I felt like a lump of lard.

In the evening we went out for a meal and the parking situation at the Ocean Terminal was AWFUL, as usual. Shoppers galore out in full effect. I hate going for buffet meals. It was a nice spread and all but I just wasn't hungry enough, having already acted out my gluttonous persona earlier during the day. Worse still I really shouted at the kids on our way home, and did more of that, at an even higher pitch, when we got home. I felt guilty about it of course, but man, I can't wait for them to grow out of this phase, whatever this phase is called. Kids are hard work. It's hard because they force you to become a better person. If you don't work at that you end up becoming some crazy bitch screaming her head off and then crying herself to sleep. And it's hard work trying to become a better person.

I didn't notice the R&DCs! Is that what was in the coffee mug?
